Get Ready to Welcome New Users

As your team expands, staff fluctuations it’s a norm in an organization. The system administrator plays a critical role in ensuring organized user management and the smooth operation of the CRM account. Therefore, we will guide you through the process of replacing a resigned user with a new user and adding a new joiner as a user.

Deactivate user from CRM

  1. Login to Zoho CRM and go to Setup.





  1.  Refer to General > select Users.






  1. Refer to Active Users list > tick the checkbox next to the user to deactivate> click Deactivate.







  1. From the pop up window, click Deactivate now to confirm your action.






Once the user has been deactivated:

  1. the user no longer be able to access the CRM account by using the deactivated ID
  2. the user will be listed under Inactive Users
  3. you are free to use the same user license to add another user
  4. if you decide to activate the user again, you can re-invite the deactivated user from Inactive User list.










Add new user

  1. Go to Zoho CRM Setup > refer General and select Users.





  1. Click New Users button for user creation.





  1. From the pop up, insert the new user details. Due to the user access right, please ensure that you have select related Role & Profile. Once done, click Save, an invitation email will send to the user.




To join the organization, user has to accept the email invitation by clicking Join Now.

It will direct the user to Zoho Account setup page, insert the username and create a group of password will do.









NOTE :


In Active Users list, if a user's profile image is highlighted with the symbol "i" it indicates that the user has not yet accept the invitation and is pending for confirmation.
